Once you request a new password using the password reset feature an email will be sent to you with a link which will lead you to a page where you will be asked to set a new password.
Should your IP change during this period the password reset procedure will fail.
If you are experiencing this, please disable any VPN, anonymous browsing and anything that could possibly cause your IP address to change unusually quick. If you have access to a mobile device it is possible it will not change IP addresses that quickly, as long as you are not moving, and you will be able to change the password successfully.
In case you cannot make your IP address stop changing the password reset feature will not work and you will have to contact support and perform a manual verification.
